Tragedy struck at Delta State University as 100 level student learning driving lost control

Tragedy struck at Delta State University when a 100-level student, who was learning to drive, lost control of the vehicle and struck a group of pedestrians, resulting in the death of a final-year nursing student.

According to reports from Agbor, the accident occurred on Tuesday when the first-year student, who had just begun her studies, was involved in a fatal crash while her boyfriend was teaching her how to drive.

The vehicle veered off course and hit a group of people at the side of the road, claiming the life of Awele Eluemunor, a nursing student set to graduate in November. Two others are currently in critical condition at the hospital.

The boyfriend, who owns the car and is reportedly involved in internet fraud, fled the scene immediately after the accident.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the university community, highlighting the importance of responsible driving practices and the need for proper supervision during driving lessons…
