Former President Olusegun Obasanjo visited Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, at the Government House in Akure ahead of the governorship election scheduled for Saturday, 16 November.
In a post shared on the official X handle of the All Progressives Congress (APC) handle on Monday, Obasanjo wished the governor a successful re-election.
Aiyedatiwa assumed the governorship following the passing of his predecessor, Rotimi Akeredolu, in 2023 after a prolonged illness.
The former president during the visit said it was not easy moving from one location to another, soliciting the votes and support of the people.
