A 33-year-old wife, Comfort Olalere Tinubu, has allegedly stabbed her 39-year-old husband, Olusegun Tinubu, to death in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Comfort reportedly stabbed her husband to death over a minor disagreement at their Gbeyi-Adegbayi residence in Egbeda local government area on Wednesday.
A source close to the family said that the deceased alleged his wife of locking him out of their bedroom for no reason.
The source said the incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday following an argument, during which Comfort allegedly locked Olusegun out of their bedroom.
This led to a physical altercation, and she reportedly stabbed him in the back. The incident was initially reported at the Gbagi Police Station.
The couple married three years ago and lived at Gbeyi in the Adegbayi area of Ibadan.
The marriage is blessed with two children.
